These professionals help ensure DFC’s global impact is positive. They review and analyze the potential impact of each project prior to approval and monitor impact over the life of the project. 

Our expert team includes:   

Environmental & Social Impact Analysts—Ensure DFC-supported projects meet congressionally mandated requirements regarding protection of environment, health, and safety and requirements for respecting human rights, including the rights of workers.   

International Economists—Ensure DFC-supported projects meet congressionally mandated statutory and policy requirements regarding U.S. economic effects and host-country development impacts.   

Impact Management & Monitoring Specialists—Work in conjunction with DFC’s environmental, social, and economic teams to identify and assess how investments positively and negatively impact people and the planet on a continuous basis. 

Technical Assistance Specialists—Facilitate project development activities by providing pre-investment support and technical assistance to maximize the development impact of DFC-supported projects post-investment.  

Eligibility

  • Applicants must meet applicable basic education requirements, depending on position. 
  • Specialized Experience: Must have relevant experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge or skills essential to satisfactory performance in the particular position. Specialized Experience is located under the Requirements section of each USAJOBS announcement.   
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.   
  • Applicants must be able to successfully pass a background investigation.  
  • Selective Service registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
