Ms. Montgomery is currently Acting Vice President, Office of Infrastructure and Critical Minerals and was most recently Acting Vice President and Co-Head for the Office of Structured Finance and Insurance at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. She manages a team of 40 plus people to deliver on essential infrastructure, such as that in the transportation, logistics, ICT, and water sectors as well as critical mining deals that feed into the clean energy value chain.
She was previously Managing Director for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey Office in Dubai, UAE for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC, now DFC), the U.S. government’s development finance institute. Prior to that, she was with OPIC in Washington DC where she structured debt financings for a variety of investment projects in emerging market countries. Her experience includes lending to healthcare PPPs, mining, oil and gas, petrochemical and water projects, and other critical infrastructure projects. She has also worked at the International Finance Corporation, U.S. Export Import Bank and in the private sector for ExxonMobil, Mobil Corporation and Duke Energy.
