Felicia Hawkins serves as the Senior Legislative and Public Affairs Specialist handling stakeholder engagement in support of DFC OIG oversight efforts and initiatives. She joined DFC in September 2021 and has more than 24 years of experience working in an office of inspector general, including conducting and managing audits, supporting investigations by managing a data analytics program, and overseeing research projects. Prior to joining DFC OIG, she was a government relations manager at the US Postal Service Office of Inspector General managing and providing stakeholder engagement to U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives oversight and appropriations committee Members and their staffs, as well as postal labor unions and management associations. Felicia was detailed to the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations for almost two and a half years working on postal reform legislation, nomination hearings, and an investigation of bad actors using the international postal network to traffic illicit narcotics. Felicia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Organization Communication from The Ohio State University.
