DFC CEO Nathan Travel to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt to Attend COP27

 

WASHINGTON – From November 8-10, 2022, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Chief Executive Officer Scott Nathan will travel to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt as part of the U.S. Government delegation to the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).

CEO Nathan will participate in events and engage a wide array of leaders with a focus on increasing climate finance for developing countries. Among other topics, he will highlight the importance of investments in clean energy and climate adaptation projects.

DFC has significantly expanded its climate-linked investment portfolio in the past year and is committed to building new partnerships that will mobilize additional public and private capital for climate solutions in emerging economies around the world.
