DFC CEO Statement on the Departure of USAID Administrator Mark Green

 

WASHINGTON – Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Adam Boehler released the following statement on the departure announcement by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green:

"Mark Green helped transform USAID during his time as Administrator. His work reached people in need in every corner of the world—from responding to natural disasters and public health emergencies to improving food security and economic opportunity.

"I am particularly grateful for Mark’s contributions to DFC’s Board of Directors. He brought an unwavering focus on good governance and accountability, and he ensured that development remains at the core of DFC’s mission. Mark helped build a strong partnership between USAID and DFC and I look forward to continuing that partnership going forward.

"I want to thank Mark for his service to our country and wish him well in his future endeavors."
