Semi Annual Reports to Congress
DFC OIG must keep Congress, DFC executives, and the DFC Board of Directors fully and currently informed about deficiencies in DFC programs and operations. In addition to audit reports, we also issue semiannual reports detailing, among other items, significant problems and deficiencies identified by the OIG during the preceding six-month reporting period (ending March 31 and September 30), listing current and pending recommendations and summarizing prosecutorial referrals made during the period. When requested, the OIG must also testify before Congress on various matters.
